BUDJET
A budget is a financial plan prepared to systematically record the income and expenditure of a Gram Panchayat for a financial year and to efficiently implement development activities, welfare schemes, infrastructure development, and administrative expenses.
The budget includes the various sources of income of the panchayat (taxes, fees, government grants, project funds, etc.) and specifies the areas in which they are to be utilized (health, education, drinking water, sanitation, road development, social welfare, etc.).
The budget is the main administrative document for ensuring transparent and accountable financial control of the Gram Panchayat, considering its development missions and the needs of the people.
